Luckily I did get something done. All the anime entries have been officially moved to thecrabshell. Episode 8 & 10 of the Jigoku Shoujo entry has been fixed. The K-On! entry and Shugo Chara entry have been updated. Remember you have to be a member of Someday to gain membership to thecrabshell.

Just finished a poster of Near and Mello. Fell in love with this couple after reading "Chocolate kiss" (doujinshi). xD An attempt on a project of this scale, took me a whole week. Results more than satisfying, the poster printed out fabulous, couldn't ask for more. 18x24 inches =D

Anyways, i'd just like to share some thoughts, and start a discussion on the future of death note...
Now, since most of the characters in deathnote are *spoiler?* dead, it would be somewhat hard to continue the series (unless you want the main characters to be near and matsuda). Most people also agree that the series kinda went a bit downhill during the it's second arc (not that it wasn't good, just not as great as the cat-and-mouse game between Light and L).
Hmmmmm...so continuing death note seems like an impossible task...OR IS IT?
I propose a new manga - which will later on be turned into an anime - about L's past cases! Lets face it: L is probably one of the most popular death note characters, and we know almost nothing about his dark and mysterious past. also, the manga could have more than one main case (unlike death note) which would increase it's longevity! There would be more characters (maybe even the reappearance of characters that were offed like naomi missora, BB, watari etc.) and more character development!
So...

Title: Integra Arrived First Genre: Pretty much just PWP. Pairings: AlucardxIntegra Summary: Integra tries to rush stress relief. Alucard knows better. Rating/Warnings: NC-17 for explicit oral sex, loving descriptions of blood, and that good old AxI standard of fighting over who's holding the leash.

♦ sarah's note → In discovering miimi I maintain my pro-downloading argument. There is something about discovering a band that is just starting out and you would otherwise never had learned of without the aid of the internet. When I discovered miimi I fell immediately in love with them like I've only ever done once before. I rant and rave about artists I love but in truth there's about a handful that I would literally risk my life for and miimi is one of those.
How to describe miimi's music without melting into fangirl mode is another arduous task for me. miimi's music as a whole relies on the shoegaze genre which results in a very full rock sound. Shoegaze itself couples significant use of guitar to create a short of "noise" type sound. miimi, however, uses this to create beautiful melodies and is matched by Yuko's vocals. Yuko's voice has an untamed feeling to it but it messes beautifully with the music and she can use it powerfully sometimes giving their music an ethereal sound.
When I listen to miimi I am to get inspired no matter what the song. Their music allows for such a free range of emotions to come through and you can't help but get addicted to them. I once bravely emailed them asking if any more copies of "Tsuki no Hikari" existed and was pleasantly surprised when I got an email from Ken, the drummist, in fairly good English. Despite I could no longer get a copy of "Tsuki no Hikari" I was excited the band could and did communicate with me.
So to say I recommend miimi would probably be redundant at this point. I honestly implore you that if you like what you hear please purchase their mini-album "ephyra". They haven't released anything since it and while they are still performing I hope they will be able to see that they have fans who want new material from them.
Note: Their singles are not new material but more like demo versions.

I just finished making a B plushie that I'd like to sell. But I'm not sure about something and I wanted to ask the list's opinion.
Originally I'd planned on making the plushie and then splattering it lightly in red (blood) like many of the B pictures I've seen. So now I've completed the plushie and I'm not sure if I want to splatter it or not.
This project has been a long one in the running, and not having completed the minor arcana (which I plan on doing someday, I'm just having a harder time with this set) and wanting to wait until that was done, I gave in and figured I'd post the major arcana since it's the most important set when it comes to tarot cards and I have no idea when the minor arcana is going to be done. But hey, I'm open to suggestions!

Rating: PG/PG-13 (for shouta!kisses) Summary: There is no point in hiding his feelings-- L will figure things out, eventually. So really, he should just tell him... Notes: This doujin essentially has three parts. The first is a bunch of humorous comics which focus on Near and his relationship with the members of the SPK; the second is a more serious piece where Near comes to terms with his feelings for L; the third is a number of cheesy cutesy LxNear flavored stories. All in all, a very amusing read. :D
*I couldn't really think of a translation for "Okosama." "Ko" means child, and putting the "o" in front of it makes it an "honorable child." "Sama" is an honorific that usually gets translated to "lord" (hence the little crown over the title), so essentially we've got us a "Lord Honorable Child Near Lunch." So... yeah. "Okosama Near Lunch" it stays. XD;;;

Here's a rundown of Hellsing-related activities at Otakon this year. Otakon 2009 runs from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, July 19 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Maryland. The full schedule of events can be found here. Pre-registration is closed but badges will be available at the door with a lengthy wait.
There are three Hellsing photoshoots planned. The first is on Friday afternoon at 1PM at the fountains. The second is on Friday evening at 7:30PM at the outdoor fountains (by the skywalk, on the way to the mall foodcourt). The third is scheduled for Saturday afternoon at 1PM at the fountains once again.
The Hellsing Ultimate Panel of Ultimateness will return on Saturday from 11:30 PM - 1:00 AM.
Crispin Freeman (Alucard's English voice actor in the Hellsing Ultimate OVA English dub as well as the dub of the original Gonzo TV anime) will be a guest this year. He will have two Q&A sessions, the first will take place on Saturday from 11AM to 12:30PM in Panel 4 (BCC - Ballroom 2). The second will take place on Saturday from 3PM to 4PM in the same location. He will also be having two autograph sessions, the first on Saturday from 9:30AM to 10:30AM in Autograph 2 (BCC - Room 349). The second will also take place on Saturday from 1:15PM to 2:45PM in the same location.

So, I've sort of kept this to myself for a while since I didn't have any proof. But in the first Tomb Raider movie, near the end where Lara is walking through frozen time, the track Monster Daddy plays from Silent Hill Origins. Since TR came out way before SH0, I'm going to assume Akira ... borrowed it? Not sure. Look for yourselves though, I thought it was kind of neat.
I took over 900+ photos... all in RAW format. So much conversion and editing to do... and probably a new hard drive will be needed. But I never thought that Jeeping would be so much fun and so awesome! Ghost towns and old mines still are amazing and unbelievable... I'm still in disbelief that I had seen all that stuff.
Anyway - I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to catch up on a weeks+ worth of LJ entries. I probably won't be checking until I get back to LA on Sunday... or even later than that.
So if I missed something really important - please tell me.
